The record of the Hossbach Conference, held on November 5, 1937 in the Reich chancellery
Colonel Friedrich Hossbach was Hitler's adjutant, wrote the minutes of the conference from his notes five days later. Dated November 10, 1937, the Hossbach Memorandum was introduced before the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg 1945. At the conference Hitler asserted that the solid racial core of the German Nation gave it the right for greater Lebensraum , living space. The future of Germany depended on satisfaction of its need for space. Once it was decided to use force, timing and execution were to be determined, at the latest for between 1943 to 1945.
